With years of dedication and extensive global touring, Hector has evolved into a masterful selector whose influence reaches far beyond the DJ booth. His journey began at just 16 in his hometown in Mexico, where he quickly earned a reputation as a promising young talent. Driven by ambition, he relocated to London and joined the iconic Phonica Records, a pivotal move that connected him with industry leaders such as Anja Schneider and Loco Dice. His releases on their acclaimed labels, mobilee and Desolat, marked a turning point, propelling him onto the international stage and building him a devoted global following.
As his artistry grew, Hector expanded into music production, signing tracks on influential labels including mobilee, Desolat, and Tsuba. His relentless pursuit of excellence is reflected in his high-profile residencies and performances — from Marco Carola’s Music On at Amnesia Ibiza to major festivals like Time Warp, Sunwaves, and Awakenings, as well as iconic clubs such as Womb, Fabric, and Output.

In 2015, Hector founded Vatos Locos, an artist collective and label dedicated to empowering emerging talent. True to its name — “The Crazy Ones” — the crew has brought its unmistakable energy to stages worldwide, from WMC Miamiand Movement Detroit to Sunwaves Romania and Underground Ibiza, championing a collaborative, ego-free culture.
Hector remains deeply involved in every aspect of Vatos Locos, from A&R and event production to merchandise and creative direction. Fueled by the same passion he felt at 16, he continues to build and expand a global community around high-quality music and artistic freedom. His unstoppable drive and clear vision firmly establish him as a powerhouse in today’s electronic music landscape.
