Sebastian Ledher

Sebastian Ledher was born in Armenia, Colombia, and through sheer hard work has become one of his country’s foremost electronic-music exports and a mainstay of the Spanish scene. Entrepreneurial to the core, he runs Play Groove Recordings, a label that consistently lands near the top of Beatport’s Minimal/Deep Tech charts. Charismatic behind the decks, he crafts electrifying atmospheres that have earned him repeat bookings at The BPM Festival (Portugal and Costa Rica), Winter Festival, Los Alamos Festival and iconic clubs such as Fabrik (Madrid), Privilege (Ibiza), 93 Feet East (London), Café del Mar (Ibiza), Bora Bora/El Patio (Ibiza) and elrow events in Madrid, Barcelona and Valencia; he is also resident for Bamboleo showcases at London’s Village Underground.

His passport includes appearances across England, Germany, Dubai, Morocco, Russia, Chile, Uruguay, Panama, Venezuela and Colombia. In the studio, Ledher moves fluidly from dub-tinged techno to deep-tech minimal and darker tech-house, releasing on Get Physical, elrow Music, Bamboleo, Deeperfect, Cr2, Bush, Nervous and Stereo Productions while increasingly focusing on his own imprint—including a new vinyl-only series of underground, dream-laden soundscapes. He twice topped Beatport’s Minimal/Deep Tech chart with “Una” and “Dos” (both with Italian duo Neverdogs), holding #1 for twelve consecutive months with the former, and scored a summer anthem with “Normal,” created with Vito UK and J Centt and championed exclusively by Marco Carola. Supported by heavyweights such as Carl Cox, Jamie Jones, wAFF, Leon, Nicole Moudaber, UMEK, Stefano Noferini, Roger Sanchez and Chus & Ceballos—and with festival plays at Sunwaves, Music On, Time Warp, Resistance, Awakenings, Ultra and Tomorrowland—Sebastian Ledher continues to push Colombian electronic music onto the global stage while nurturing the next wave through his label and dance-floor-driven vision.
